Privacy Policy
This privacy policy applies to the Viralty app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Poshet (hereby referred to as "Service Provider"). This service is intended for use "AS IS".
Information We Collect
To provide video analysis, we collect only what the app needs:
- An anonymous device identifier, stored in your device's secure Keychain, used to identify your account without a login
- Videos you choose to upload for analysis
- Profile details you provide: platform(s), follower band, niche, and optional typical views per post — used to tailor predictions
- Analysis results: virality score, retention curve, reach estimates, and fix suggestions
- Subscription status, verified through Apple and RevenueCat — we do not receive your payment card details
Your Uploaded Video
When you upload a video for analysis, it is transmitted securely to our servers and processed by automated analysis pipelines. The source video file is deleted from our cloud storage as soon as processing finishes — on both success and failure. A lifecycle rule also removes any source files that remain after 24 hours. We do not use your video for advertising, model training, or any purpose other than generating your report.
What We Retain After Analysis
After your video is deleted, we keep the analysis report (scores, curve data, and text suggestions) and a small set of frame thumbnails extracted during processing, so you can review results in the app. You can delete individual analyses or all data at any time from Settings.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information above solely to provide the app's core functionality: running analyses, showing your history, enforcing usage limits, and managing subscriptions. We do not sell your data, do not use it for cross-app tracking, and do not include third-party advertising SDKs in the app.
Third-Party Services
We use cloud storage and AI processing services to run analyses. These providers process data only to deliver the service on our behalf. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Subscription verification is handled by RevenueCat using your anonymous device identifier — RevenueCat does not receive your uploaded videos.
Tracking
Viralty does not track you across other companies' apps or websites. We do not use the App Tracking Transparency framework because we do not engage in cross-app tracking.
Data Retention and Deletion
Your data is retained for as long as your account exists. You can delete all data from within the app: Settings → Delete all my data. This permanently removes your account, every analysis, and associated server-side data. Deletion requests by email are also honoured within 30 days. Your App Store subscription remains active until you cancel it through Apple.
Children
Viralty is intended for users 13 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us immediately.
Security
All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Your device identifier is stored in your device's secure Keychain. We take reasonable measures to protect your information against unauthorized access.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. We will notify you of changes by updating this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
